Ingredients list for Chocolate Truffles

  • 500 grams Dark Chocolate chopped
  • 250 millilitres Cocoa Powder
  • 60 grams Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup Pistachios chopped

Method

  1. Heat cream in a deep non stick pan.
  2. Place dark chocolate in a bowl and pour the hot cream over it. Stir till the chocolate melts.
  3. Melt butter and add and mix well. Keep the bowl in microwave for a minute, take it out and stir again to make a smooth mixture.
  4. Add honey and mix. Add kahlua and mix well. Keep the bowl in the refrigerator for ½ hour.

  5. Place cocoa powder in one plate and chopped pistachios in another.
  6. Take the bowl out of the refrigerator and shape the mixture into small balls.
  7. Roll some of the balls in cocoa powder and others in chopped pistachios and serve.
