Ingredients list for Chocolate Rocks
- 250 grams Dark Chocolate
- 20 White Chocolate
- 20 Pistachios
- 20 Cashewnuts
- 50 grams White chocolate
Method
- Preheat oven to 150°C. Roast the almonds, pistachios and cashewnuts for five to seven minutes. Chop few of them and set aside for garnish.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler stirring it continuously. If you do not have a double boiler, you can place the pan with the chocolate in a bigger pan filled half with boiling water. When it has melted completely, take it out of the boiler and keep stirring for around five minutes.
- Melt white chocolate in the same manner and set it aside. Add the nuts and mix so that each nut is properly coated with the dark chocolate. Drop spoonfuls on greaseproof paper, garnish with chopped roasted nuts and let them set in a refrigerator.
- Alternatively you can use your fingers to shape the rocks. Decorate them with white melted chocolate making fine threads with the help a of paper piping bag.
