Ingredients list for Chocolate Phirni
- 5 tablespoons Rice
- 1 litre Skimmed milk
- 3 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons Milk powder
- to taste Sugar substitute sucralose
- 4-5 Pistachios blanched and sliced
Method
- Soak rice for half an hour and grind to a coarse paste. Mix cocoa in a quarter cup of cold milk. Dissolve milk powder in another quarter cup of warm milk. Bring the rest of the milk to a boil.
- Add dissolved cocoa and milk powder to the boiling milk. Stir continuously. Add rice paste and cook till a little thick. Remove from heat and mix in sugar substitute.
- Pour into an earthenware pot. Sprinkle sliced pistachios and let the phirni cool. Serve chilled.
