Ingredients list for Chocolate Orange Rice
- 3/4 cup Dark Chocolate chopped
- 1 1/2 cups Basmati Rice soaked and drained
- 1 Orange
- 3 cups Milk
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1/4 cup Fresh cream
Method
- Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan. Add rice and mix and bring the mixture to a boil. Lower the heat, cover and cook, stirring once in a while, till the rice is done.
- Add sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar melts.
- Add chocolate, and mix well till the chocolate melts.
- Add cream, mix well and cook for two minutes. Switch off the heat.
- Grate orange peel directly into the pan and mix well.
- Cut orange into slices.
- Transfer the rice into a serving bowl, garnish with orange slices and serve hot.
