Ingredients list for Choco Ragi Cake
- 3/4 cup Dark chocolate roughly chopped
- 1 cup Finger millet (ragi / nachni) flour
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2 tablespoons Whisky
Method
- Preheat oven at 180°C.
- Put chocolate and butterin a bowl and melt on a double boiler. Set it aside to cool completely.
- Break eggs into a bowl and whisk them till light and fluffy. Add castorsugar, little by little, and continue whisking till well combined.
- Pour chocolate mixture into the egg and sugar mixture and whisk well.
- Sift together ragi flour and baking powder into it and mix well.
- Add whisky and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a baking tin, level it out, place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for fifty-five minutes. Remove from oven, cool and remove from the tin.
- Cut into slices and serve.
