By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Almonds , Fresh white bread Cuisine Fusion Course Soups Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Chilled Almond Soup 1 cup Almonds blanched and peeled 4 slices Fresh white bread 2 cloves Garlic sliced 5 tablespoons Olive oil 1 1/2 teaspoons Vinegar to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder to garnish Almond flakes toasted to garnish Black grapes seedless halved and skinned Method Advertisment Tear the bread slices into a bowl and pour half cup cold water over them. Put the almonds and garlic in a blender and blend to a paste. Add the soaked bread and olive oil and continue to blend till smooth. Add the vinegar and one cup cold water and blend some more. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and season with salt and pepper powder. Adjust the consistency with more water. This is a thick soup. Refrigerate the soup.
