By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Processed Cheese, Ripe Banana Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Cheesy Banana Puffs 1 cup Processed Cheese 4 Ripe Banana mashed 1 cup Wheat flour 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida) 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 2 tablespoons Yogurt 5 tablespoons Castor sugar (caster sugar) Method Knead together bananas, wheat flour, refined flour, cumin powder, salt, black pepper powder, yogurt, castor sugar and a little water into stiff dough. Cover and set aside for two to three hours. Divide both the dough and the cheese into eight portions. Stuff each portion of dough with a portion of cheese and roll out into a puri. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry the puris in hot oil till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
