Ingredients list for Caramel Banana
- 12 small Bananas (elaichi)
- 1 Lemon
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds (til)
Method
- Peel bananas and halve them horizontally and at a slant.
- Squeeze the juice of a lemon over them and mix well.
- Heat sugar in a non stick pan, add ¼ cup water and let the sugar dissolve.
- Keep a silicon sheet on a refrigerator shelf. Arrange the banana pieces on the silicon sheet.
- When the sugar melts continue to simmer till it begins to caramelize.
- Drizzle it over each banana piece. Sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
- Prick each banana piece with a toothpick and keep the shelf in the refrigerator to set.
- Serve chilled.
