Ingredients 

  • 8-10 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup yogurt , whisked
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

Method

  1. Peel garlic cloves, smash them with the back of a knife and mince them.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till golden brown. Take the pan off the heat. Strain through a strainer into a bowl.
  3. Take yogurt in another bowl, add black salt, salt, red chilli powder and add ¾ of the fried garlic and mix well.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with the remaining fried garlic and serve.
