Corn was indigenous to America, but is now grown throughout the world. It is used as a vegetable, briefly boiled or roasted or eaten with butter. And it would also interest you to know that the favourite popcorn, made by popping the small corn kernels, is a wholesome cereal food and is easily digested. Besides this, corn sees its use in various other ways – salads, soups, subzis and even sweets too!

Ingredients for Bhutta Recipe

  • Corn Corb 2

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Brown sugar 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Peel off the skin of the cobs. Keep the cob on a twelve inch x twelve inch square size aluminium foil, sprinkle salt, smear butter and lemon juice on the cob.

Step 2

OR Keep the cob on a twelve inch x twelve inch square size aluminium foil. Sprinkle salt, red chilli flakes, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies, brown sugar and smear butter and lemon juice.

Step 3

Wrap the aluminium foil around the cob and twist the end of foil like a toffee. Place the cobs on live charcoal on a barbecue and cook for fifteen minutes. Open the foil and serve hot.
