By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ladyfingers, Coriander seeds Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Bharwan Bhindi Masala 250 grams Ladyfingers trimmed and slit vertically without cutting throug 1 tablespoon Coriander seeds 10-15 Black peppercorns 1 tablespoon Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon White sesame seeds 3 Dried red chillies 2 Medium onions peeled, cut into 1 inch cubes and layers separated 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 2 tablespoons Oil to garnish Fresh coriander sprig Method Take coriander seeds, black peppercorns, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, white sesame seeds and dried red chillies in a mixer jar and grind to a fine powder. Stuff the ladyfingers with some of this masala powder and sprinkle some of the remaining masala over them. Add onion, remaining masala powder, turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder and toss well. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add the ladyfingers and mix well. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes or till the ladyfingers are well done.
