Beetroot Til Ki Sabzi

Ingredients

  • 4-5 medium beetroots, boiled, peeled and cut into ½ inch cubes                
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (til), roasted                
  • 2 tablespoons oil                            
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds                        
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds                        
  • 5-6 curry leaves                        
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder                    
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder                     
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala powder                
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves            

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves and sauté for a minute. 
  2. Add beetroots, red chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add garam masala powder and sesame seeds and toss well.
  3. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
