Ingredients 

  • 25-30 fresh basil leaves
  • 15-20 walnuts
  • 100 grams parmesan cheese powder
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 6-8 black peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley sprigs chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Put walnuts, parmesan cheese, garlic and black peppercorns in a blender jar and blend into a coarse paste.
  2. Add parsley, basil leaves and olive oil, blend to a fine paste. Add salt and mix well.
  3. Transfer the paste into a bowl and use as required.
