Ingredients list for Banoffee Cheese Cake
- 2 Bananas
- 1 cup Cream cheese
- 14-16 Digestive biscuits
- 1/2 cup Dark chocolate melted
- 2-3 tablespoons Butter melted
- 1/2 cup Dulce de leche
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 cup Gelatine melted and bloomed
- as required Dark chocolate block
Method
- Break the digestive biscuits and put them into a food processor jar and process it to a coarse powder. Add melted chocolate and melted butter and process till well combined.
- Spread the biscuit mixture at the base of a spring bottom mould, spread it evenly, press lightly and refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.
- Peel the bananas, break them into smaller pieces and put into a food processor jar, add cream cheese and dulce de leche. Add salt and bloomed gelatine and process to smooth paste.
- Pour this cream cheese mixture on top of the biscuit base and spread it evenly. Keep the mould back in the refrigerator till well set.
- Shave chocolate for garnishing. De-mould the cheesecake and place it on a serving plate. Garnish with chocolate shavings and serve immediately.
