Ingredients list for Banana Delight

  • 8 Elaichi bananas
  • 8 slices Vanilla sponge trimmed
  • 4 teaspoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Mixed nuts chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Tutti frutti
  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Icing sugar
  • 4 pieces Dry fruit chikki ground

Method

  1. Heat a non stick grill pan on medium heat. Place the cake slices on it and grill till slightly crisp. Set aside.
  2. Peel the elaichi bananas and halve them vertically. Place them on the grill pan. Sprinkle sugar over them and grill till the sugar caramalises and the bananas turn a light golden brown.
  3. Dry roast the cashewnuts, almonds and raisins in a non stick pan on low heat. Add honey and tutti fruitti and mix well. Add bananas to this mixture and mix gently.
  4. Place the bananas on the cake slices and sprinkle cocoa powder, icing sugar and the ground chikki over them. Serve immediately.
