Ingredients
- ¾ cup banana
- ½ cup walnuts, chopped
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 2 cups refined flour (maida)
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups butter
- A few drops of vanilla essence
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C
- Break eggs into a large mixing bowl, add brown sugar and beat with a hand blender till fluffy.
- Sift refined flour and baking powder into another bowl.
- Take butter in a third bowl and melt it in the microwave. Add melted butter to the flour mixture and mix well. Add banana puree and mix well. Add vanilla essence and mix.
- Add egg mixture and mix. Add walnuts and mix. Add half the chocolate chips and mix.
- Pour the batter into a silicone mould, sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top and mix lightly with a spoon.
- Keep the mould in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove from the mould, slice and serve hot.
