Feta cheese, cream cheese, parmesan cheese ground with some herbs, baked and served with toasted baguette slices. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients list for Baked Cheese

  • ½ cup Feta cheese
  • 1 cup Cream cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 Baguette
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Chives finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 3 Cherry tomatoes

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  2. Grind together feta cheese, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic, crushed peppercorns, chives, balsamic vinegar and olive oil in an electric food processor to a smooth mixture. Spread the mixture on an oven proof plate and place cherry tomatoes on top.
  3. Place the plate in the preheated oven and bake for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Diagonally slice the baguette and place on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and toast for 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish the cheese with a fresh parsley sprig and serve with toasted baguette slices.
