Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Bajre Ka Soup Recipe

  • Bajra Flour 1 cup

  • Yogurt 2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2

  • Ginger finely chopped 1/2

  • coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Mix bajra flour and yogurt in a bowl. Whisk till smooth. Add two cups of water.

Step 2

Transfer into a non stick pan. Cook on low heat stirring continuously.Add salt, cumin powder. Cook for ten minutes.

Step 3

Add more water if the mixture becomes too thick. Serve garnished with chillies, ginger and coriander leaves.
