Menu: Start enjoying the festivities with a colourful Rangbirangi Squash, followed by a mazedar crunchy-munchy Matar Paneer Samosa and of course the synonymous Mawa Gujiya, without which the Holi celebrations can never be completed!

Shopping List

150 grams cottage cheese (paneer)

1 packet of readymade samosa patti
1 bunch of coriander leaves
1 bottle of khus syrup
1 bottle of rose syrup
1 bottle of orange squash
1 bunch of mint
200 grams of mawa/khoya
100 grams dried figs
100 grams seedless dates
50 grams cashew nuts
50 grams almonds
50 grams walnuts

Preparations before you begin:

Freeze the colorful ice cubes a day prior. Blanch the green peas. Grate the cottage cheese. Chop ginger, green chillies and coriander for the samosas. Make the dough for gujiya and chop the nuts and figs.

How to go about it

Prepare the stuffing for the samosa. Prepare the stuffing for gujiya. Stuff the gujiya and deep-fry. Make the squash ready. Stuff the samosa pattis with the stuffing and deep-fry.
