During the 18th and 19th centuries, the Americans developed a number of new foods.  What characterised the American cuisine is the adaptation of a fusion of multiple ethnic cooking styles. During this period food production and presentation became more industrialised.

Ingredients for Walnut Brownies Recipe

  • Dark Chocolates 250 grams

  • Egg 1 cup

  • Eggs 3

  • Sugar 2 cups

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup

  • Walnuts 1 1/2 cups

  • Chocolate chips 1 cup


Step 1

Preheat the oven at 180°C.

Step 2

Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.

Step 3

In another bowl combine together refined flour, walnuts and chocolate chips. Add chocolate to the egg mixture and mix well. Fold in the refined flour such that no lumps are formed.

Step 4

Pour the mixture in the greased cake cake tin and bake for twenty-fiveto thirty minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream.
