Ingredients for Tom Kha Gai Recipe

  • Chicken 400 grams

  • Thin coconut milk 3 cups

  • Straw Mushrooms 100 grams

  • Lemon grass 2 stems

  • Galangal 2 inch piece

  • Kaffir lime leaves 3

  • Red bird’s-eye chillies 6

  • Chicken stock 1 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 4 tablespoons

  • Fish sauce 3 tablespoons

  • Sugar 1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Wash and cut chicken into one-centimeter strips. Clean, wash and halve mushrooms. Wash and chop lemon grass. Peel, wash and chop galangal. Wash and tear kaffir lime leaves into julienne. Remove stems, wash and lightly crush red bird’s-eye chillies.
