Ingredients for Til Ke Cheese Toasts Recipe

  • Bread Slices 2 tablespoons

  • Cheese

  • Cheese grated 3 tablespoons

  • Bread slices 3

  • Milk 3/4 cup

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mustard powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil to shallow fry

Method

Step 1

Heat the milk in a pan till hot.

Step 2

Lower the heat and stir in the flour.

Step 3

Add cheese, red chilli powder, mustard powder, salt and one teaspoon sesame seeds and stir till the cheese melts.

Step 4

Trim the edges of the bread slices and then cut them into four triangles.

Step 5

Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.

Step 6

Dip the bread pieces into the sauce and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top and shallow-fry till golden in colour.

Step 7

Drain and place them on an absorbent paper.

Step 8

Serve hot.
