Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. 
Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

  • Strawberry Crush 2/3 cup

  • Milk 2 teaspoons

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Powdered sugar 1/4 cup

  • Fresh cream 2/3 cup

Method

Step 1

Mix the cornflour in two tablespoons of water and set aside. Boil the milk in a non-stick pan, add the cornflour mixture and two tablespoons powdered sugar, mix well and then simmer for three to four minutes.

Step 2

Set aside to cool. Whip the cream with remaining powdered sugar to a soft peak consistency. Mix the cooled milk mixture with the cream and strawberry crush.

Step 3

Pour it into a shallow dish and freeze it. Remove from the freezer and blend in a blender till the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 4

Freeze the mixture again until firm. Scoop and serve.
