Italian cuisine has developed through centuries of social and political changes, with roots stretching to antiquity.  Italian cuisine is simple and a number of dishes having only four to eight ingredients.  They rely mostly on the quality of ingredients rather than elaborate preparation.
Noteworthy changes in Italian cuisine happened with the discovery of the New World and the introduction of potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers and maize, which are now an integral part of this cuisine.  Italian cuisine is known for its regional diversity each with a distinct taste.  This cuisine today is probably one of the most popular in the world.

Ingredients for Spaghetti And Corn Balls Recipe

  • Spaghetti boiled 1 cup

  • Corn Kernels boiled 1/2 cup

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Refined flour (maida) 2 1/2 tablespoons

  • Garlic crushed 6 cloves

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Fresh red chillies finely chopped 2

  • Fresh parsley chopped 2 teaspoons

  • Milk 3/4 cup

  • Red chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 1/4 cup

  • Batter

  • Refined flour (maida) 1/4 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder to taste


Step 1

Heat butter in a non stick pan, add refined flour and stir for one minute on low heat. Add garlic and onion, and sauté for two minutes or till soft. Add fresh red chillies, parsley and mix.

Step 2

Add milk, and cook, stirring continuously, till thick. Add corn, chilli flakes, salt and pepper, mix well. Remove from heat and add spaghetti and cheese and mix.

Step 3

Allow to cool. Make balls with greased hands. Allow to rest for some time. In a bowl make a thick batter with refined flour, salt, black pepper powder and sufficient water.

Step 4

Heat oil in a kadai, dip the balls in the batter and deep fry, on medium heat, till golden brown. Drain and remove on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
