Ingredients for Saeb Ka Halwa Recipe

  • Apple grated 2 cups

  • Sugar 3/4

  • Khoya/mawa, grated 1/2 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Mixed nuts, chopped 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Cook the grated apples with sugar in a thick-bottomed kadai till the sugar melts.

Step 2

Add the khoya and cook over low heat until the khoya melts.

Step 3

Continue to cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until the moisture dries up.

Step 4

Stir in the cardamom powder. Decorate with the mixed nuts and serve hot.
