Ingredients
- 500 grams pumpkin, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- 3-4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 fresh red chillies, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 7-8 peppercorns, crushed
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- ¼ cup desiccated coconut
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
Method
- Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions and sauté on high heat.
- Add pumpkin pieces and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add crushed garlic and sauté. Add fresh red chillies, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix.
- Add cinnamon powder, desiccated coconut, chopped tomatoes and half a cup of water.
- Cover and cook for twenty to twenty five minutes or till done.
- Serve hot.
