Ingredients for Peanut Jam French Toast Recipe

  • Brown bread slices 8

  • Eggs 2

  • Peanut butter as required

  • Jam as required

  • Castor sugar ¼ cup

  • Cream 2 tablespoons

  • Milk ¼ cup

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Icing sugar to sprinkle

Method

Step 1

Break eggs into a bowl. Add castor sugar, cream, milk and whisk well.

Step 2

Spread peanut butter on four bread slices and jam on the remaining slices. Now sandwich the slices in such a way that peanut butter and jam face each other.

Step 3

Heat the butter in a non-stick pan. Dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture and cook in the pan, turning sides till evenly golden on both sides.

Step 4

Cut into triangles and sprinkle icing sugar on top. Serve immediately.
