Maple Pot De Crème A French delicacy – custard topped with maple syrup and whipped cream. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Maple syrup, Fresh cream Cuisine French Course Desserts Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Maple Pot De Crème as required Maple syrup 1 cup Fresh cream ¼ cup brown sugar/jaggery 4 Egg yolks as required Whipped cream as required Edible colourful sprinklers Method Heat cream in a non-stick pan. Add ⅔ of brown sugar, mix and cook till it melts. Take egg yolks in a bowl. Add remaining brown sugar and whisk. Add some cream-sugar mixture and whisk well. Add the yolk-cream mixture to remaining cream-sugar mixture, place the pan back on heat and whisk well for 30 seconds. Strain the mixture into another bowl. Half fill small glasses with this mixture and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. Fill a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle with whipped cream. Pour some maple syrup on top of the set pot de crème and pipe out whipped cream on top. Drizzle some more maple syrup and sprinkle some edible colourful sprinklers on top.
