Ingredients list for Mango Chocolate Custard

  • 1 Large ripe Mango
  • 5 teaspoons Mango pulp
  • 1 cup + a few wedges White chocolate grated
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Vanilla custard powder
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Fresh cream

Method

  1. Peel mango.
  2. Take custard powder in a bowl. Add milk and whisk well.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan. Put custard mixture in it and cook, stirring once in a while, till it thickens.
  4. Remove the seed and roughly chop mango. Put some of the pieces in each of 4 individual ramekin moulds.
  5. Add cream to custard and mix well. Switch off heat and transfer the custard into a bowl. Add chocolate and mix well till chocolate melts.
  6. Add mango pulp and mix well. Pour the custard mixture over the mango pieces in the moulds and refrigerate for 2-2½ hours or till set.
  7. Garnish with remaining chopped mango and a wedge of white chocolate. Serve chilled.
