Ingredients list for Maaz Paashi Roti

  • 1 1/2 cups Wholewheat Flour
  • to taste Ghee
  • 4 tablespoons Ghee
  • for dusting Refined flour (maida)
  • as required Butter

Method

  1. Sift the flour with salt, add half cup of water and knead it to a soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for fifteen to twenty minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into eight equal portions and roll into small chappatis. Brush each chappati with half a teaspoon of ghee and fold it in half.
  3. Brush half a teaspoon of ghee on the folded chappati and fold again into a small triangle and dust with refined flour Roll these triangles into thick rotis and cook on a griddle without using any ghee till cooked on both sides.
  4. Serve hot topped with homemade butter.
