Ingredients for Maaz Paashi Roti Recipe

  • Wholewheat Flour 1 1/2 cups

  • Ghee to taste

  • Ghee 4 tablespoons

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Butter as required


Step 1

Sift the flour with salt, add half cup of water and knead it to a soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Step 2

Divide the dough into eight equal portions and roll into small chappatis. Brush each chappati with half a teaspoon of ghee and fold it in half.

Step 3

Brush half a teaspoon of ghee on the folded chappati and fold again into a small triangle and dust with refined flour Roll these triangles into thick rotis and cook on a griddle without using any ghee till cooked on both sides.

Step 4

Serve hot topped with homemade butter.
