Ingredients list for Lemon Butter Cookies
- 2 Lemon zest
 - 1/2 tablespoon Lemon juice
 
Method
- Preheat oven at 180°C.
 - Take butter in a bowl. Add castor sugar and beat well.
 - Add egg and beat again. Add refined flour, zest of 1 lemon, lemon juice and baking powder and mix well. Knead into a dough and refrigerate for 20-25 minutes.
 - Divide dough into equal portions and shape them into cookies. Place the cookies on a silicon sheet placed on a baking tray.
 - Grate remaining lemon on top of cookies and sprinkle brown sugar on top. Press lightly.
 - Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.
 - Remove from heat, cool and serve.
