Ingredients list for Kurmura Nashta
- 1 cup Puffed Rice
- 5-7 Dried Golden Apricots
- 8-10 Dried prunes
- 2 teaspoons Brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons Chocolate powder
- Yogurt whisked 4 tablespoons + 4 teaspoons
- for garnishing Raisins
- for garnishing Slivered almonds blanched & peeled
- Honey for drizzling
Method
- Roughly chop apricots and prunes.
- Dry roast puffed rice in a non-stick pan till crisp. Add brown sugar and chocolate powder and mix well. Transfer into a bowl and crush lightly.
- For each portion put some of the chopped apricots and prunes into a serving bowl. Add 1 tbsp yogurt, some of the puffed rice mixture, top with 1 tsp yogurt, garnish with raisins and slivered almonds and drizzle honey and serve immediately.
