Ingredients list for Kansar
- 500 grams Brokenwheat
- 50 grams jaggery
- 150 grams Jaggery (gur)
- to grease Sugar powdered
- a pinch Ghee melted
Method
- Mix the broken wheat with ghee. Take double the quantity of water and boil. Add jaggery. Strain the syrup.
- Bring it to boil again and add the broken wheat. Cook on a slow heat stirring constantly for 10-15 minutes or till the time the wheat is cooked.
- Serve the kansar topped with melted ghee and powdered sugar.
