Ingredients list for Kansar

  • 500 grams Brokenwheat
  • 50 grams jaggery
  • 150 grams Jaggery (gur)
  • to grease Sugar powdered
  • a pinch Ghee melted

Method

  1. Mix the broken wheat with ghee. Take double the quantity of water and boil. Add jaggery. Strain the syrup.
  2. Bring it to boil again and add the broken wheat. Cook on a slow heat stirring constantly for 10-15 minutes or till the time the wheat is cooked.
  3. Serve the kansar topped with melted ghee and powdered sugar.
