Ingredients list for Kaaley Aloo

  • 6-8 medium Potato boiled and peeled
  • 2 teaspoon Black Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds

Method

  1. Cut potatoes into medium cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add cumin seeds, onion seeds and mustard seeds. When the seeds splutter, add potatoes and stir well.
  3. Add black salt, salt, crushed black peppercorns, roasted cumin powder and black sesame seeds and mix well.
  4. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes or till all the moisture evaporates.
    Add garam masala powder and mix gently. Serve hot.
