Ingredients for Fruity Cereal Waffle Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 2¼ cups

  • Cranberries dried ½ cup

  • mixed cereal 1 cup

  • Egg whites 7

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 3 cups

  • Melted butter ½ cup + fo

  • Heavy Cream ¼ cup

  • Salt ½ teaspoon

  • lemon oil ? teaspoon

  • Zest of 1 Orange

  • Honey to sprinkle

Method

Step 1

Beat together egg whites and castor sugar in a bowl till the sugar dissolves completely.

Step 2

Add ½ cup water, melted butter, cream and salt and mix well. Add lemon oil and orange zest and mix till well combined.

Step 3

Add flour and fold in well. Add cranberries and cereal and fold in again.

Step 4

Preheat a waffle iron.

Step 5

Brush the waffle iron with some butter and pour some batter on it. Cover and cook till golden brown and fully done. Place it on a serving plate.

Step 6

Prepare more waffles similarly.

Step 7

Drizzle honey over them and serve.
