Combine sugar with ½ cup water in a non-stick pan and place it on heat. Cook till a thick sugar syrup is formed. Spread the nuts on a baking tray and pour the sugar syrup on top. Mix well. Dust icing sugar on top with the help of a sieve and mix the nuts with the help of a scraper. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 1-2 hours. Remove from heat and cool for 30-40 minutes.
