Ingredients list for Crispy Fried Walnut Mushrooms

  • 20 medium Mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons Walnuts
  • 100 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 2 tablespoon Ham chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Walnuts chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon White wine
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Clean and wash the mushrooms. Gently separate the stems from the caps. Brush mushrooms caps with melted butter. Mix all the other ingredients. Stuff this mixture into the mushroom cavity.
  2. These mushrooms can be cooked by baking in a hot oven at 180°C for fifteen minutes or can be deep fried by coating in egg and rolling in bread crumbs and frying till crisp.
  3. Serve with tomato sauce.
