Ingredients for Creamy Mustard Garlic Prawns Recipe

  • Prawns 20 medium

  • Mustard Paste 2 tablespoons

  • Spring onions chopped 2

  • Garlic chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Mustard paste 2 tablespoons

  • Cream 3 tablespoons

  • Tomato ketchup 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 1 teaspoon

  • Spring onion greens chopped 2

Method

Step 1

Shell, de-vein and wash prawns well. Pat dry on a kitchen towel. Heat butter in a pan, add spring onions, garlic and sauté slightly.

Step 2

Add mustard paste, stir and continue to sauté. Add prawns, cream and stir. Add tomato ketchup, salt, freshly crushed peppercorns and stir to mix.

Step 3

Cook for about half a minute on high heat. Do not over cook the prawns. Add the spring onion greens and immediately take off the heat.

Step 4

Serve immediately with French bread or garlic bread.
