Ingredients list for Chocolate Peanut Chikki

  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Roasted peanut powder
  • 1 cup Jaggery , chopped
  • 1 tbsp + for greasing Ghee

Method

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment pepper and grease a rolling pin with ghee.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a non-stick pan, add jaggery and mix well. Let the jaggery melt completely. To test whether the syrup is ready, put a drop of it in cold water. If it forms a firm ball then the syrup is ready.
  3. Add cocoa powder and mix well, add roasted peanuts and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the lined tray and spread it evenly with the greased rolling pin.
  5. Cut into squares while it is still hot. Allow to cool and then break the squares.
  6. Serve or store in an air-tight container
