Ingredients for Apple Crisp Recipe

  • Red apple 1 medium

  • Puff pastry dough as required

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Melted butter for greasing

  • brown sugar/jaggery ¼ cup

  • Cinnamon powder to sprinkle


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Halve and core the apple.

Step 3

Dust worktop with some flour, place the dough and roll out into a ½ cm thick rectangle sheet. Cut into thick strips.

Step 4

Brush each strip with some butter. Sprinkle some brown sugar and cinnamon powder on top.

Step 5

Thinly slice the apple halves horizontally.

Step 6

Place apple slices on one side of each strip, fold and roll them. Place them into individual silicon muffin moulds.

Step 7

Place the moulds on a baking tray. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 8

Serve hot.
