By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Jan 2014 in Videos Veg New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Duration 00:02:16 Preparation time 11-15 minutes Cooking time 11-15 minutes Course Gravies sauces and stocks Cuisine Mexican Ingredients Tomatoes, Spices Description How to make Mexican Red Sauce Others Veg Ingredients 4 tomatoes, blanched and chopped 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon paprika powder 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons crushed garlic Salt to taste 1 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon fresh oregano Method Place tomatoes in a blender jar alongwith red chilli powder, paprika powder, basil and very little water. Puree till smooth. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté till pink. Add pureed tomato mixture, stir to mix and cook till thick.
