Ingredients
- 2 red apples
- 1 cup chopped dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Cocoa powder to sprinkle
- Dark chocolate garnish as required
- Fresh raspberries for garnish
Method
- Peel, core and chop apples.
- Heat a non-stick pan, add apples and ¾ cup water and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes or till apples soften. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool.
- Melt dark chocolate either on double boiler or in microwave.
- Transfer apples into a grinder jar, add maple syrup and melted chocolate and grind to fine mixture.
- Transfer into individual transparent small cups and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Bring them out of the freezer, sprinkle cocoa powder and place dark chocolate garnish on top. Garnish with raspberries and serve.
