Ingredients list for Vegetable Rava Uppuma
- 1 1/2 cups Semolina
- 1 medium Green Peas 1/4 inch cubes
- 6-8 French beans, 1/4 inch pieces
- 1 medium Cauliflower , small flotets
- 1/4 cup Green peas
- 1 medium Green capsicum, 1/4 inch pieces , seeded
- to taste Salt
- 5 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 2 Whole dry red chillies, broken
- 2 teaspoons Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal)
- 10-12 Curry leaves
- 4 Green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 medium Onion , finely chopped
- 1 inch pieces Ginger, finely chopped
- a pinch Asafoetida
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Method
- Roast semolina in a dry kadai without browning. Set aside to cool.
- Boil four cups of water in a deep pan, add little salt and boil carrot, beans, cauliflower and green peas for six to eight minutes or till the vegetables are almost done.
- Drain and set the vegetables aside.
