Ingredients list for Toffee Creme Brulee
- 1 Whole Egg
- 2 Fresh Cream
- 3/4 cup Castor sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Fresh cream
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup Condensed milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 110°C.
- Whisk together whole egg, egg yolks and half cup of castor sugar in a bowl.
- Heat cream in a non-stick pan. Add egg mixture and mix well. Add vanilla essence and condensed milk and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into four individual ramekin moulds. Put the moulds in a baking tray, half filled with water. Cover with aluminium foil and prick the foil with a fork.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for twenty minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool down to room temperature. Refrigerate for one to two hours.
- Before serving, sprinkle the remaining sugar equally on all the moulds and melt the sugar with a blow torch.
- Serve immediately.
