Ingredients list for Til Ke Cheese Toasts

  • 2 tablespoons Bread Slices
  • Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Cheese grated
  • 3 Bread slices
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to shallow fry Oil

Method

  1. Heat the milk in a pan till hot.
  2. Lower the heat and stir in the flour.
  3. Add cheese, red chilli powder, mustard powder, salt and one teaspoon sesame seeds and stir till the cheese melts.
  4. Trim the edges of the bread slices and then cut them into four triangles.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.
  6. Dip the bread pieces into the sauce and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top and shallow-fry till golden in colour.
  7. Drain and place them on an absorbent paper.
  8. Serve hot.
