Think about a rich fish curry and try making it obliterating the coconut! It will pass off as a fake. Very correctly termed as the ‘plant of life,’ each and every part of the coconut plant is useful in one or the other way.

Ingredients for Tender Coconut Shikanji Recipe

  • Tender Coconut Water 1

  • Lemon 2 cup

  • Shikanji masala 1/2 teaspoons

  • Lemon 1/2

  • Honey 2-3 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Pour tender coconut water into a large bowl. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon, honey, salt, black pepper powder, shikanji masala and mix well.

Step 2

Scoop out the malai from the tender coconut and add. Put a few ice cubes into the tender coconut shell, pour the shikanji into it and serve chilled.
