Ingredients list for Tawa Prawn Masala - SK Khazana
- 18-20 prawns medium, cleaned, deveined and washed
- 2 onions medium, peeled
- 1/2 tomato large
- 4-5 coriander leaves sprigs
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon red chilli paste
- 1/2 lemon
- Coriander sprig for garnish
Method
- Chop onions, tomato, and coriander leaves. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a tawa, add onions and sauté till golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add tomato, salt and sauté well. Cook till the tomatoes are pulpy. Add ½ cup water and mix well.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and 3 tbsps water and mix well. - Add red chilli paste, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add prawns, mix well.
Add 2 tbsps water and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes. - Add chopped coriander, squeeze lemon juice and mix well. Cook for 1 minute and take it off the heat.
Serve hot.
