Ingredients
- 2 bunches fresh spinach leaves (palak) roughly chopped
- 1 cup shelled green peas boiled
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 medium onion
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1 1/2 cup vegetable stock
- 1 1/2 cup milk
Method
- Heat oil in a deep non stick pan. Chop onion, add and sauté.
- Shred spinach and add and continue to sauté. Add green peas, salt, white pepper powder and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer into a mixer jar, cool slightly, add vegetable stock and puree.
- Transfer the puree back into the pan, add milk and bring to a boil.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
