Ingredients list for Sama Aur Aloo Ki Khichdi
- 2 cups Varai cleaned, washed
- 1/2 teaspoon Potatoes grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Clove crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed
- to taste Rock salt (sendha namak)
- 3 tablespoons Ghee
- 2 cups Yogurt
Method
- Boil ten cups of water in heavy bottom pan. When water starts boiling add vari, potatoes, cinnamon, clove, crushed pepper, sindhanamak and ghee. Keep stirring continuously.
- Cook it on moderate flame. Let the water gets complete dry, and vari will cook. Serve hot with yogurt.
