Ingredients list for Red Wine Syllabub

  • 8-10 tablespoons Red wine
  • 1 cup Liquid sweetened whipping cream
  • 1 Lemon
  • 16 Fresh strawberries hulled
  • 4 Readymade brownie pieces
  • a few for garnish Orange segments
  • for dusting Cocoa powder

Method

  1. Take whipping cream in a mixing bowl and beat for 4-5 minutes. Grate the zest of the lemon into it and continue to beat.
  2. Squeeze the juice of the lemon into the bowl. Add red wine and whisk till soft peaks are formed.
  3. Roughly chop strawberries.
  4. Place 1 brownie piece on each serving plate and top it with cream mixture. Garnish with strawberries, orange segments and dust some cocoa powder on top and serve immediately.
